The newest course location is particularly impressive due to its setting in the beautiful Salzkammergut region, in the heart of Austria, with its mountains and lakes. Our group will be accommodated in the Luise Wehrenfennig House, which is located in the centre of Bad Goisern.

 

The students reside in well-lit sunny rooms, ranging from 3 to 6 beds, each with its own private bathroom. The facility boasts spacious seminar rooms suitable for educational classes, complemented by a large sports court for tennis, volleyball and basketball, as well as a soccer field. The train station and the outdoor pool are both within a few minutes' walking distance.

Hallstatt and Salt mine

We take a boat to the world-famous town of Hallstatt and a cable car to the salt mine. Guided tour.

Canyoning

We cross a canyon! 20 minutes' hike uphill, short climb, long zip line downhill. Small waterfalls, obstacles requiring abseiling, slides, and swimming sections.  Ages 12 and up.                                              25 €

Water park Bad Goisern

The pool is a 5-minute walk from our accommodation. Students can come here during the day or in the evening to cool off, and there is also a beach volleyball court and buffet.    .                                                    4 €

Hike to Toplitzsee

We hike to Lake Toplitz and cross it by boat, observing beautiful waterfalls and hearing stories about the legendary Nazi treasure that is believed to be hidden in its depths.                                                            8 €

Rafting

An adventure on the water with several stops for breathtaking water jumps. Up to 12 children can fit in one boat.

High rope course

There is a beautiful high ropes course in the forest near our accommodation. The children spend two hours there and then slide down the mega flying fox.

Dachstein Ice cave

From the shore of Lake Hallstatt, we take the gondola up to the Dachstein and visit the ice cave (-2°C) on a 1-hour guided tour, then the Himmelstreppe (Stairway to Heaven). An experience in any weather.               28 €

City of Bad Ischl

The imperial family used to spend their summers in this charming little town. Here you can visit the imperial villa, sit by the river and enjoy a delicious cake, or go shopping.                                    5 €
